NGA has become the ambassador of the Rwandan Government Robotics 4 Youth program

On this Friday 13th October New Generation Academy (NGA), Ministry of ICT and Innovation (MINICT) and Digital Solutions for Sustainable Development (DSSD) project of GIZ signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) as an agreement to build a robotic maker laboratory at New Generation Academy. The laboratory to be built will serve the whole country by not only being a laboratory of reference in Robotics but also supporting the National Robotics Programe. By signing this MoU, NGA committed to become an ambassador of the Rwandan Government Robotics for Youth program. The objective of this joint statement is to establish a robotics lab at NGA, for its students and teachers’ use. This lab will also be accessible to stakeholders such as innovators, teachers and other people involved in the national robotics program. The MoU was signed by:

The MoU is for a period of two (2) years starting from 13th October 2023 to 30th December 2025 but may be extended for a subsequent period of 2 years (period) by agreement of the signed parties.
